Rat rods are
invading Vegas...
Join us at
the beautiful Village at Lake Las Vegas as rat rodders
from around the U.S. and Canada showcase their machines,
talk shop, and have a good ol' fashioned shindig.
The car show
portion of the event will span the entire day while we
immerse ourselves in live music, drinks, food, and the
rat rod culture. Free to both car owners and the public,
folks will be able to interact with rat rodders featured
in Rat Rod Magazine and see their award winning machines
up close.
The Rat Rod
Magazine and National Rat Rod Association founders will
be on hand including Editor & NRRA President Steve
Thaemert, Head Builder Bryan Dagel, Director of
Photography Chad Truss, Artist Nick Sinclair, and many
more.
The event
will culminate with pin-up photoshoots for special
inclusion in Rat Rod Magazine, including an easy-going
contest with the winners receiving extra feature space
in the magazine.
Ratpalooza
happens on the 6th day of the Rat Rod Tour, which starts
in Mahtowa MN (just south of Duluth) and winds it's way
through the Rocky Mountains, down into Vegas, across the
Hoover Dam, over parts of historic Route 66, and into
California and beyond. This epic rat rod journey will be
driven (that's right, no trailers here...) by folks as
far as Canada, the east coast, and the deep south.
Rat rodders
are encouraged to join the caravan at any point of the
tour at one of the many destinations or rendezvous
points, and travel as far as they feel comfortable. Tour
participants will receive special items commemorating
the event and will be featured in a special edition of
Rat Rod Magazine. The entire tour will also be filmed
for documentation and TV. |
